Air float deburring attachment that is most suitable for automation of deburring

This air float deburring attachment makes it possible to remove all deburrs made in the parting line, thick-walled parts, sprue, and ingate required for making one work.

Cover the unmeasured parts in the x-axis and y-axis direction
The air float part (motor spindle attaching part) tilts up to 5°and freely moves 360 degrees in radial direction (multi-float mechanism).
Cover the unmeasured parts in the z-axis direction

The air float part contracts 8mm in the axial direction (axial float mechanism).
Free regulation of the floating power according to the material of work.

Customers can freely regulate the floating power (cutting tool pushing power) by regulating the air pressure to be supplied to the air float part.

  • Use the precision regulator (standard accessory) to regulate the air pressure.
  • Air pressure can be regulated in the 0.05 MPa to 0.2 MPa range.
  • Note that the position of the cutting tool when applied to the workpiece also causes minor variations in floating power.
  • Automatic floating power regulation is possible with the electropneumatic regulator.
Free selection of motor spindle

Customers can freely select a commercially available motor spindle and attach it to the air float deburring attachment.

Holder lineup compatible with φ20, φ30, and φ40 spindles.

 

 

  • The AF series does not come with a motor spindle.
  • The optimal spindle varies according to the workpiece m aterial and shape of the burrs (machining capability differs dep ending on spindle power).
  • Use AF10 after attaching a special tool to the dedicate d adapter.
    * The dedicated adapter does not rotate. Deburring is perf ormed by stroking the burrs with the special tool. Contact our sales department for details.
  • Our recommended deburring attachments with attached φ20, φ30, and φ40 motor spindles are also available. Contact our sales department for details.

  • The φd2_H7(JIS) dimensions are those of the attachment hole for the air float on which the motor spindle is attached.
  • Refer to the instruction manual and mount the motor spindle at the correct position.
  • The weight of the motor spindles we recommend is 0.23kg for φ20, 0.80kg for φ30, and 1.84kg for φ40.
  • There is no recommended motor spindle for AF10. Contact us for further details.

  • Regulate the air float pressure via the (included) precision regulator to provide clean air.
  • Always set an air filter between the air supply and the precision regulator to supply clean air. (In the path diagram, ALU-01 is an air filter we offer as an optional accessory.)
